We want to reach out to you directly about something that may have caught your attention: a Herald Sun article listing Child’s Play Dandenong South alongside a compliance notice dated 24 April 2025.
The compliance notice was not ours
We completely understand why this may have raised questions, and we want to provide you with the correct information relating to the PREVIOUS APPROVED PROVIDER.
The compliance notice listed was issued against the previous operator of this centre, Kool Kidz Dandenong South, NOT Child’s Play.
The Service Approval Transfer to Child’s Play ELC was in fact MAY 12th 2025, which allowed us to open our doors as a completely new Approved Provider.
This was AFTER the notice was already in place relating ONLY to Kool Kidz Dandenong South. Child’s Play had ABSOLUTELY NO involvement in the circumstances that led to the notice.
What we have built since opening
Since transferring to Child’s Play, the safety, wellbeing, and happiness of every child in our care has been our absolute priority and is thriving under the new management.
In our first quality rating and assessment under Child’s Play management, our beautiful centre was elevated from the Kool Kidz ‘Working Towards’ National Quality Standard to ‘Meeting’ National Quality Standards across ALL 7 areas.
We are beyond proud of this achievement, and it reflects the dedication of our educators and the culture we are building together and creating for our amazing community.
