Our indoor-outdoor policy means children can follow their curiosity and guide their own play. Our indoor rooms feature natural wooden home-style furniture and soft-colour palettes, while our outdoor areas let children explore, climb, and connect with nature.
At Child’s Play Tarneit, all meals prepared for children are created without budget restrictions, allowing us to focus on fresh, nutritious ingredients that children enjoy.
Our rotating seasonal menu features a variety of healthy favourites, including Thai beef noodle salad, crumbed fish with vegetables, veggie korma curry, as well as fresh fruit and homemade snacks.
With experienced in-house chefs leading the way, our meals prepared are shaped by feedback from children, parents, and caregivers, helping ensure every child can enjoy delicious food that supports their growth and wellbeing.
See our healthy Child’s Play menuAt our early learning centre, we see children as capable, curious learners, drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia philosophy to create a meaningful learning experience every day. Our thoughtfully designed play spaces, often known as the “third teacher,” are filled with open-ended materials that encourage thinking, language, creativity, and confidence.
Our team works closely with each child to intentionally plan opportunities for learning and development across our seven curriculum areas:
Creative Arts
Science & Technology
Child-Led Routine
Foundations of Learning (early literacy and numeracy)
Planning & Design
Children Within Nature
We Are The World (diversity and First Nations perspectives)
Through carefully arranged toys, resources, and environments, we help children build strong foundations in problem-solving, collaboration, independence, and school readiness. Best of all, every learning experience is designed to be so engaging and enjoyable that children are having fun while they learn.
Explore education at Child's PlayOur centres are proud to celebrate every child’s culture. Many of our educators are multilingual and come from diverse backgrounds themselves. They often communicate with children in their home languages and help families feel truly at home.
In instances where our educators can’t speak your child’s home language, we’ll learn key phrases and create visual supports, like flashcards, to help your child feel at ease.
We also celebrate cultural events, including NAIDOC Week, Diwali, Holi, Ramadan, and Eid. With a multicultural menu and activities that celebrate the different parts of the world, Child’s Play fosters a deep respect for diversity and a sense of belonging for each child.
