How does Child’s Play Truganina promote diversity and inclusion?

Our centres are proud to celebrate every child’s culture. Many of our educators are multilingual and come from diverse backgrounds themselves. They often communicate with children in their home languages and help families feel truly at home.

In instances where our educators can’t speak your child’s home language, we’ll learn key phrases and create visual supports, like flashcards, to help your child feel at ease.

We also celebrate cultural events, including NAIDOC Week, Diwali, Holi, Ramadan, and Eid. With a multicultural menu and activities that celebrate the different parts of the world, Child’s Play fosters a deep respect for diversity and a sense of belonging for each child.

Thank you all for being so incredibly friendly, calm, and patient with my daughter, Sayuri. I’ve seen such positive growth in her over the past four months, and I know it’s because of the amazing part you've played in her progress. A special shout-out to Paiyal, Devender, Ruhi, Monika, and Inder, along with everyone else who has cared for her. Knowing she is in your safe hands makes me feel so at ease. You truly take care of her like a mother, and I’m so grateful for all you do. Thank you again for your patience with both Sayuri and me!
