In the Pre-Kinder Room, the children have been busy building with the recyclable materials which have included boxes, lids, cardboard, containers and tubes. If families could bring in some of these resources from home the children would really like it. Some of the masterpieces the children have been creating include robots, buses and houses.
With the warmer weather we have been playing with a lot of waterplay outside. In the sandpit the children have been cooking soups and cakes with containers and buckets of water. Inside the children have been exploring sensory sea animal tubs which have sand and water in them.
Nicole has been helping the children explore playdough and learning how to make it themselves. The children have been adding rosemary and mint for different textures and scents.
