The Toddler Room also started the new year off with some new faces and we welcome them into our Child’s Play family. The Toddler children have been spending some time orientating into the Pre Kinder Room, which they have been enjoying. They are very lucky to have their lead educator Hayley moving up to the Pre-Kinder Room with them.
In the room the children have been focusing on their self-help skills. The children have been helping clean after each meal and putting their own drink bottles away. They are also helping educators clean the tables and chairs. The children have also enjoyed participating in self-serve where they serve themselves their own food. Using their sense of agency and being able to make choices in what they want to eat. In our summer menu the children have been able to make their own taco boats and wraps.
