Healthy snacks are hard to come by, snacks that children adore are even harder to come by. Luckily banana bread is always a fan favourite. 


  • 2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 cup golden syrup
  • 2 overripe bananas
  • 150mls oat milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon ground
  • ½ cup of brown sugar


Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease a bread tray with oil and line with baking paper.


Mix the flour and salt into a large mixing bowl.


In a separate bowl, mash the bananas. Add the golden syrup, cinnamon and brown sugar into the bowl.


Once combined, add the banana mixture to the flour and mix well.


Add oat milk and stir.


Add mixture to pan and bake in the oven for 10-15 or until a skewer comes out clean.



Let it cool down and enjoy warm!
