Tell us a bit about yourself and your experience
With over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, I have dedicated my career to supporting young children’s growth, learning, and wellbeing. I recently completed my Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, which has further deepened my understanding and strengthened my leadership within the sector.
I began my journey with Child’s Play in 2022 as a Room Leader at our Tarneit centre. Since then, I’ve grown into my current role as Centre Director, where I am passionate about fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and inspiring environment for children, families, and educators alike.
My goal is to ensure every child feels safe, supported, and empowered to explore their full potential each day at our centre.

What hobbies do you have?
Outside of work, I love anything that gives me the space to express my imagination. I enjoy DIY projects, art, crochet, and knitting, and I’m always excited to learn new hobbies. My creativity not only brings me joy but also inspires the way I lead, plan, and support learning experiences at our centre.

Why do you work in early childhood education?
I am deeply passionate about working in Early Childhood Education. I chose a career in childcare because I find great joy in supporting children as they grow, learn, and thrive during their crucial early years. Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where each child feels valued is at the heart of what I do.
Equally important is building strong, trusting relationships with families helping them feel confident and at ease knowing their children are being cared for with genuine warmth and professionalism. Being part of a child’s foundational years is both a privilege and a responsibility that I cherish every day.

How would you describe Child’s Play ELC?
At Child’s Play, we’re more than just a high-quality childcare centre. We’re a welcoming, multicultural community that reflects the diverse families around us. Our dedicated and close-knit team works together to create a nurturing environment where every child is known, supported, and celebrated, no matter which room they’re in.
But our care doesn’t stop with the children. We’re here for families, too. Whether it’s offering parenting support, sharing resources, or simply being a listening ear, we’re committed to building strong partnerships with families. We understand that when families feel supported, children flourish.
